Bunny Watching
Finally decided to take down the Christmas decorations. While standing by the window, I looked outside and saw a wild rabbit watching me as I took off the decorations from the tree and pulled out the branches. I wonder what he was thinking?

Thinking about Thoughts
Do you ever wonder what other people are thinking when they are quiet? Do you ever wonder how someone elses brain works differently than your brain?
When we have random thoughts, does everyone think in the first person?
Do you debate with yourself as you try to make decisions? I do.
I never use my name when thinking to myself. Is that the norm? Is there a norm? How would we know if there is a norm?
When a person dies, the hearing is the last sense to go. Does that mean the brain that detects hearing is still working? If so, does the brain understand what it is hearing?
The brain is really fascinating. I sit here, aware of my surroundings, at the same time, registering the music playing in the other room, while I debate what to type.

After spending a few days inside, I am craving sunlight and color.
I understand the old winter tradition of wearing dark colors that absorb heat back in the day when people had to walk, ride or catch trolleys to get to their destination. But now that we have reliable cars, warm coats, well heated homes, work places, businesses, there is no reason to continue wearing dark clothes. If I could change one little thing about style, it would be people wearing bright, cheerful colors all year round.

Another try
Recently,I started PinIting. I find it easier to pin cards than to figure out how to access my blog I usually end up resetting my password because I misplace the password.
Having my own blog will allow me to Pin my own cards to my site under Laurie Magnuson Helgason. All anonymity is gone when using Pin It. I am amazed by how much were share on facebook, Pinterest, and blogs. The opinions we share, the interests and likes we have and our personal information is available to anyone willing to surf through the different mediums.
I will try to visit more often and share something more profound.

एंड ऑफ़ स्कूल. एंड ऑफ़ school
My children are home for the summer. DH graduated from high school and now we need to decide about his future. He is definitely staying home, in our care, as long as we are able to care for him. We are interested in a day program but may have to wait.
DD has summer school, which she sees as a way to meet new people and stay connected with some friends.
I have been coloring images but haven't made any cards. I love using Copics and using a color guide to help me choose colors. I sit and color for a couple hours while the family watches evening television.
